Contract Labour Solutions are Sutton Coldfield Electricians
Think of Birmingham and you tend to get images of factories belching smoke, or foundries producing molten ore – pretty much Peaky Blinders territory. But Sutton Coldfield, very much a part of Birmingham since 1974, defies that image. It’s had a very different role to play in the city’s history, as one of the ‘lungs’ of the city.
The first railway came to Sutton Coldfield in 1879, when Birmingham was at the heart of the industrial revolution. The magnificent Sutton Park became the place where Brummies could escape the fumes for a few hours and enjoy fresh air and a picnic. By 1882 the park was drawing 20,000 visitors in Whit week, and was a well know beauty spot in the Midlands.
