Looking for Birmingham Electricians?
When was the moment we decided to set up Contract Labour Solutions in our home city of Birmingham? There isn’t one simple answer to that, but we all agree that working on the iconic Library of Birmingham in 2013 was a pivotal moment for us. We’d witnessed the gradual transformation of Birmingham city centre over the years, but being a part of it was a tremendous buzz – it made us proud to be Brummies!
Since then, we’ve continued to be part of the reshaping of the city. Contract Labour Solutions provided the electrical installation for the new HSBC headquarters on Bridge Street. And just this year we completed the electrical installation for another iconic building; this time it was Project Apple, also part of the Arena Central development on Bridge Street.
Looking for Electrical Contractors in Walsall?
It’s thought that the name ‘Walsall’ derives from ‘Walh Halh’ which means ‘valley of the Welsh speakers’. The town sits resolutely in the West Midlands, though, 55 miles east of the Welsh border and just 8 miles from Birmingham city centre. Walsall is one of the towns forged by the Industrial Revolution, which is when it became a global leader in the production of leather goods. Now, its proximity to the M6 has transformed it from a producer to a distributor of goods.
Contract Labour Solutions electrical engineers are regular visitors to the town – in fact, we remember visiting the famous illuminations at the Arboretum as kids. Now, though, our role is to install, maintain and repair electrics, rather than wonder at them! And we’ve never yet met anyone speaking Welsh in Walsall…
How to Choose an Electrician
Choosing an electrician isn’t the same as choosing a decorator, or even a plumber for the simple reason that any mistakes they make could be fatal for you, your employees, or your family. It sounds dramatic, but the stakes are high when you take on an electrician to rewire your home, or provide electrical installation. Ask any electrician and they’ll have a few horror stories about the ‘botch jobs’ they’ve encountered in their time.
Knowing how to choose an electrician could save you money in the long run, and – potentially – save lives. It requires a bit of research along the way, but if the result is you find an electrician you can trust with all your commercial or domestic electrical services, it will certainly have been worth the time and effort.
